The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at Virginia Tech invites applications for a part-time instructor of Japanese position to teach two courses, online synchronous or in-person, during the fall 2024 semester. Requirements include (1) an MA or equivalent by time of appointment in Japanese language, literature, culture, language pedagogy, second language acquisition, or related field; (2) experience teaching Japanese at a US university; and (3) legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
