Visiting Assistant Professor of Japanese

Job Summary:

The Bucknell University Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for a one-year, entry-level replacement position as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Japanese language for the 2024-25 academic year. Teaching responsibilities include three language courses each term for a total of six in the academic year. Specific courses offered will depend upon departmental needs. MA, ABD, or Ph.D. required. Teaching experience highly favored. Candidates must be able to speak English effectively and have native or near-native command of Japanese, with standard pronunciation.
