AATJ is co-hosting ICJLE (International Conference on Japanese Language Education – North America) August 1-3, 2024, where the conference theme will be “Exploring Issues of Diversity and Expertise in Japanese Language Education.”

We expect to welcome 400-500 Japanese educators from around the world to attend this conference, which has not been held in North America since 2006. The venue will be the beautiful campus of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, in the geographical and cultural center of the upper Midwest region of the United States. The conference will be a showcase for Japanese language and culture education and scholarship in North America.

We invite you and your organization to become a supporter of this landmark event. There will be opportunities to showcase your services, publications, and products, and to make connections with teachers, scholars, and educational institutions from around the world.

Individual Donations

Individual Donations in any amount are gratefully accepted. Donations accepted by the end of November 2023 will help us reduce the registration fees for the conference attendees. In addition, donations can be used to establish scholarships to graduate students’ and K-12 teachers’ attendance.
