Seinan Gakuin Summer Intensive Japanese Program (Japanese University Program)

Seinan Gakuin University has opened the on-line application for its 2014 Four-Week Intensive Japanese Language Program to students from all over the world.

The four-week Summer Intensive Japanese Program accepts up to 40 students each year at the Refresher (beginning II), Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, and Advanced levels of Japanese. Lecturers are all highly experienced in Japanese language education, with experience both in our year-long exchange programs and at other universities both here and abroad.

The Summer Intensive Japanese Language Program is highly recommended to students who intend to learn Japanese in a short time. This program also includes field trips (e.g., visiting local shrines, traveling to Kumamoto, etc.), which will help students to learn Japanese language and culture.

Course Content:

- Four different levels (Refresher (beginning II), Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, and Advanced) in classes with 12 or fewer students.

- Four-week intensive language instructions, exams, workshops, language lab activities, and on- and off-campus field work.

- Field trips to local shrines, temples and other local attractions.

 

- A two-day study trip to Kumamoto to visit the Kumamoto-castle , Suizenji-park, Mount Aso. and local sights of historical interest

The application deadline for the 2014 program is April 7, 2014.
