Congratulations and and thanks to all the students and teachers who participated in the 2023 AATJ Nengajo Contest! The creativity and talent that the students demonstrated was impressive, as was their passion for the Japanese language and culture.

For the Year of the Rabbit, we received 646 cards that met all the criteria for being considered: 87 were from elementary school students, 119 were from middle school students, 407 were from high school students, and 33 from college students.

Certificates of participation were awarded to each student whose card was submitted. Gift certificates from Amazon.com along with certificates were awarded to all the winners in each category.

Further details about the winners, their schools, and their teachers were featured in the February issue of the AATJ Newsletter.
