Part-time Instructor/Assistant Professor of Japanese

The Japanese program is the fastest growing program in Kennesaw State University’s Department of Foreign Languages.  We are seeking candidates to join the staff as part-time instructor or assistant professor in Japanese beginning fall, 2017. Responsibilities include teaching up to two classes per semester. Enthusiasm/interest in teaching communicative, learner-centered, language and culture courses is required.

Qualifications:Master’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, or its equivalent in ability, training, and/or experience in the target language or in a related field. The ideal candidate has previous experience in teaching beginning and/or intermediate language at the college level.

All prospective instructors must have permission to work in the U.S. (i.e., be US citizens or have a visa which permits employment).
