Japanese Language Teaching Fellow

The Japanese Program at Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a full-time position as a Japanese Language Teaching Fellow. The appointment starts in the Fall 2018 semester.  Position is renewable annually depending upon administrative approval, curricular needs of the program and teaching performance.  The position is equivalent to lecturer in other institutions. The normal teaching load is the equivalent of four courses/year.

Applicants should have an MA in a related field, at least two years of experience in teaching Japanese at the college level, and native or near-native proficiency in Japanese. Applicants should be able to instruct all levels of Japanese, to develop course materials, and to introduce various aspects of Japanese culture.
