We are looking for part-time language teachers with a passion for sharing their cultures, and an aptitude for teaching their native languages. Our mission is to "inspire the confidence to communicate in a foreign language, stimulate motivation to achieve each individual's goals, and encourage a lifetime of language learning." RESPONSIBILITIES - work with director to develop creative and effective lessons plans - weekly updates on classes and progress - preparation of own materials, lesson plans and homework while coordinating with school on curriculum and assessment requirements - hour commitments vary per job, however, our busiest hours are either weekday evenings / weekends - teaching experience recommended, or relevant experience -Japanese teaching experience preferred, but will train the right candidate APPLY - please send either your resume or CV to recruit@hillslearning.com

Diplomatic Language Services, a US Government contractor based just outside of Washington, DC, is seeking experienced Japanese instructors for both online and in-person classes. Schedules vary from very part-time to full-time, and all students are adult learners. Basic curriculum is provided, though each class is tailored to the student(s). Training will be provided as needed to interested candidates. Requirements for instructor candidates: Bachelor’s degree in any field required; Minimum of valid work permit for US-based employment required; Previous experience teaching language to adult-learners preferred; Experience with learning technology preferred.
