Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8, PA
The World of Learning Institute at Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 is seeking part-time facilitators who have a passion for teaching Japanese. PA or other state-level certification preferred, but not required.
Our ideal candidate is an eager learner who embraces using best practices in the world language virtual classroom, an excellent communicator, and works well in a team environment.
Our facilitators work from home and host live, virtual world language instruction using Zoom technology and apply research-based practices, such as using comprehensible input, integrating culture in all lessons and tailoring class activities to meet learners’ interests and needs.
We provide targeted professional learning, rich online curricular content, and individualized support for our facilitators.
