Request Old Score Reports

If you took the test in the United States in 2012 or earlier, you can request a "Certificate of Results and Scores" from AATJ, which administers the JLPT in the US. We will need you to provide the information listed below along with a copy of your ID.

The fee for issuing the report is $10, which can be paid by check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). It may take up to 3 weeks for your score report to arrive, so please plan ahead if you need it by a certain date.

Please email the following information to jlpt@aatj.org:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Test Year
  • Test City
  • Test Level
  • Registration Number (if available)
  • A brief statement detailing your request
  • Official ID (send by fax or scan and send by email)
  • Mailing Address
  • Payment Method
