The National Japanese Exam was developed by NCJLT (National Council of Japanese Language Teachers) as a way for for middle- and high-school students to test their skills. Regular registration for the 2012 National Japanese Exam ends January 31; there is also a late registration period from February 1 - 10. The window within which students can take the exam is March 1 - April 8, 2012.
