ATJ Publications

The ATJ issues three different types of publications:

Newsletter
The ATJ newsletter is published on an academic year schedule in September, November, February, and May.

Journal
ATJ’s main venue for intellectual discourse among its members is the Association’s official journal, Japanese Language and Literature. (Before 2001 (Volume 35) the journal was entitled Journal of the Association of Teachers of Japanese.)

Occasional Papers
Occasional Papers may be proposed to the Associaton. Occasional Papers are not peer-reviewed, but this venue can be used to disseminate new research findings, essays, or symposium proceedings more quickly than publication in Japanese Language and Literature. Occasional Papers will be published in printed and online form.
