Ryosuke (Bob) Koyama
My name is Ryosuke (Bob) Koyama, and I am looking for a Japanese teaching position as a Secondary Japanese Teacher with an educational institution that provides opportunities to create an engaging learning envirionment for students to appreciate both Japanese culture and their own cultures. I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in May 2008 with a Batchelor degree in East Asian Studies. I also have an active 5-12 Japanese teacher certificate issued by the State of Indiana. I have taught Japanese for one year at Bloomington High School South in Bloomington, Indiana. I have strong interest in Japanese cooking and food culture and like to implement those in my lesson plans. I also have a wide range of knowledge on both traditional and modern Japanese culture including pop culture and young culture. I have also recently completed my degree as a Master of Secondary Education concentrating on classroom technology at East Tennessee State University in this May.
